Copyright infringement

Illegitimately downloading a movie is an infringement of the copyrights. The fact that one would have never paid the official price doesn't exempt one from becoming an infringer. And every infringement should be punished, why do you need otherwise the term "infringement"? Well now, the owner of the copyrights owns just as well the rights for the commercialization.  And because one wanted to see the movie anyhow, but not at that price, one decides, despite of not owning the right to commercialization, to (1) infringe, (2) set the price unilaterally, this is concretely zero (the culture of "nearly" everything free), and on the top (3) believing that the infringement doesn't deserve punishment.

In none other field would such a chain reaction of impunities be accepted.
